The Maltese Islands
The five islands that make up Malta aren’t on everyone’s radar, although Malta has a Royal Malta Yacht Club and Royal Malta Golf Club, one of the few places in the world to enjoy such privilege and esteem. Malta, Gozo and Comino are all inhabited with Malta possessing the world’s only Grand Harbour, a rousing sight surrounded by medieval battlements and forts. The remaining islands, Cominotto and Filfla, are reached by boat, with Filfla reserved as a bird sanctuary.
